Droid work with 2007 RDX?
The MiL has a 2007 RDX and is looking at the Droid. She asked if could find out if it would pair up with the HFL. She had a problem with an older Treo 755p, so she's nervous.
I see from here:
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...ighlight=droid
that the Droid works in the 2008, but was hoping for some confirmation for the 2007.
Thanks in advance.

I also would like to know if anyone can confirm that the Droid works with an 07 RDX w/ Nav HFL.
Acura's HFL site still shows it as being tested.
Thanks to anyone with any information.

Well the MiL got lucky and found a Verizon sales guy who had the Droid and was willing to bring it out to her RDX to see if it would pair. It did! So, if anyone else still cares....

Moto Droid works well with the 07 RDX. Actually it works better then my BB phone. If I dial a number on the phone in my contacts it automatically transfers to the hands free on the RDX without having to say "transfer".

I suppose that's going to be based on the user. If it were me, I would consider that a bug.

Not me. It drives me nuts that a paired phone's default mode is not hands free. The only circumstances I can imaging that I would not use the hands free is if a passenger was using my phone to have a private conversation.

Good to see that the Droid phones seem to be compatible with the HFL system.
I was just looking at the HFL site and I'm peeved that my BB Tour is not compatible. I still have a year left before I can upgrade, so I'm not sure what I'll do, but I'm disappointed because this was one of two features I was really excited for. I pick up my 2011 next week and won't be able to use all its features.

Have you actually tried it with a demo car? Don't be disappointed until you've tried it and it fails. That HFL site is a bunch of crap. It takes them WAAAAAAAAY to long to test phones, and phones that are supposedly incompatible often work fine. Not trying to artificially inflate your hopes, but don't give up before trying....

Unfortunately, I did not try it with the demo car, so I am not positive it doesn't work. I guess I will just see how it does when I pick up the car.
