Winter tires 16 inch?

Shopping rims and tires as that time of year Tire rack as 225/70 to mate up with the steels they have. Any issues with this? 2009 RDX

You should be able to clear the stock brakes diameter wise with most 16s....but with steelies, I know sometimes they don't have any kind of rear backpad, and can rub the face of the caliper. Something to consider before blindly buying steelies. I really have only seen a few people run 16s, and they were low offset wheels for off-roading. Most alloy wheels at least have some kind of minimal backpad for clearance. Have you looked for anything used for sale locally?

look for 04-08 (ish) Acura TL wheels. They are pretty easy to find, fairly cheap, and come in a few styles. The specs will fit the RDX no issue as well.
