received the AVS deflectors for my 11' RDX this past weekend and have them installed yesterday. similar to what i did before, i beefed up the 3M double sided tape in certain areas to fill some of the gaps. it's been raining all day today and no water seeping so far.

the AVS deflectors actually had one thing more superior than the weathertech ones i have for my TL, and that's the packaging. they have plastic wrapped on the outside of each deflector so they don't scratch against each other, and i simply pull them off once they're installed, scratch free. the weathertech ones on the other hand were scratched and with swirl marks even before they were installed

the ones i ordered from ebay were individually wrapped.. no scratches.. the tint color on them is just right.. not too dark.. i did double sticky near the mirror area just to make sure but other then that they fit really well.. for 22 bucks its a steal i cant complain 1 bit

These window deflectors are super popular in Italy. I guess Italians like to be cool, but can't stand being touched by the wind.

I'm actually not so much worried about wind but I hate how much water comes in the car even during a light sprinkle. It blows off the windshield directly into the car so even if it's not raining hard enough to get water in from the rain, it comes in from the glass. Same if I just use the washer fluid...wipers push it the edge and it goes right into the car instead of out, over, away, etc. Yeah, I'm a crybaby.

Yep, I just bought new wipers for the truck. Really not looking forward to the rain. Quit smoking and got my beer consumption down to one 12oz can per day.
I will no longer need to stand out in front of the bar looking like a white trash POS. I'm going to keep some of my other bad habits just in case.

Because where I live sometimes that's the only time where the weather is cool enough to go windows down. lol I'm not talking about a downpour or anything, but even a light misting where it normally wouldn't get in the car still sucks because of the way it blows off the windshield.

highway noise is tame.. did 75 felt quieter even with the windows down you dont get that thundering sound from the back (not sure if you know what i mean) window rattle shake is better too which happens with the window is half way dow.. cant say for rain since it hasnt rained yet.. appearance has deff grown on me too =)

nice thanks for the quick reply!

what about when it's fully up? is there any additional noises from wind leakage? etc... I mean how does it compare when it's fully closed compared to stock?

and ya, i know what you mean about the thundering repetitive noise at the back so that's good to know

I just got the eBay set. Not a perfect fit where it meets the mirror, but nothing a heat gun couldn't take care of. Definitely worth $20. They look good!
