Will there be a better offer in March?

Hi all,

I am new here. I don't own an RDX yet, but I am thinking of leasing one. Currently Acura has a special lease offer on it (see below) that expires on 3/3/2008. I wonder if anyone knows if there could/would be a better offer after March 3rd? For example, if anyone remember did they have an offer change around this date last year?

I am thinking that tax day is coming closer and closer, so it would be in interest of the dealership to sell as many cars as possible before the April 15th, so it is very likely another (better) special might come up.

So, anyone remembers anything like that from the last year? Not specifically for RDX (cause I believe it was very new then), but in general for Acura.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
Envious RDX non-owner

$399.00 per month for 36 months. $1,999.00 total due at signing.

FEATURED SPECIAL LEASE: Closed-end lease for 2008 RDX (Model TB1828JNW) for $399.00 per month for 36 months with a $1,005.00 capitalized cost reduction available to customers who qualify for the AHFC Super Preferred credit tier. Other rates/tiers are available under this offer. $1,999.00 total due at lease signing (includes first month's payment, AHFC upfront acquisition fee and capitalized cost reduction; with no security deposit. Total net capitalized cost and base monthly payment does not include tax, license, title, registration, documentation fees, options, insurance and the like). Not all buyers may qualify.

personally, i think the offer is GREAT. My buddy just leased a Jeep Patriot for right around the same pricing and the value of the Patriot is $8K less then the base RDX.

I'm not a huge fan of leasing, but if you had to, i would go with the pricing Acura has now. I wouldn't wait and "hope" acura comes out with a better offer. they could turn around after 3/03 and have NO offer, who knows.

if you are set on the rdx stick with the here and now pricing, and if you must lease, go for it.

dont think ive seen an offer to date lower than 399 / 2.9 apr so best case scenario ur probably looking at it

but like all leases, selling price...remember, the rdx's r being sold at invoice.

Leases are base on 3 things. The price they are selling the car for (cap. cost), the residual value, and the money factor (finance rate). You can get a better deal than 399/mn too, so don't go in and show them the ad and say "I wanna do this".

As a model year progresses, the residual value slowly drops. You don't want to wait too long.

The $1999 + tax/doc/reg and 399/mn could still be there on March 4th, but the residual will have dropped (meaning your paying for more of the car) and they'll compensate by lowering the money factor to keep the payment the same.
