I live in manassas and work in centreville, and I have to head out on the road soon. It looks horrible out there, but I think I want to get out before it turns to freezing rain. Weather channel said accumulations of about an inch. I think we are at about 3-4 inches right now and more to come. I hope it turns to rain later on and washes it all away. I've got a flight to catch tomorrow morning!

Me and the Mrs. live in Arlington and picked up her RDX yesterday (also the CGP you guys have). She just drove me into D.C. to my office. Saw two accidents involving non-AWD sedans. We had absolutely no trouble. The RDX is a total trooper in snow. She is absolutely in love with her new wheels.

Koreets, read the "deal" threads - it's not uncommon in several places in the US to get them for invoice or below and have the dealers throw in the accessories that they've already installed on the car (as one should be arguing - without your "permission", eh?).

The problem isn't that the RDX is a bad car, but that it wasn't distinguished well enough from the MDX to warrant the nearness of the pricing structure between the two so most jump to the MDX without the big discounts. That, and Acura built several boat-loads before they realized this.

If you hurry before the end of the month you can still get the 36 month 2.9% or 60 month 3.9% financing...

Arlington, VA here.

Snow was nice, but the roads were hell. Don't have an RDX, but have had a number of Acuras over the years.

Hey NoVa folks: this is a bit OT since it is for my cars other than the RDX, but does anyone know a good place that does detailing? My 325CI is a mess coming out of the winter, and we need to get my wife's old Saturn SL 2 ready to sell. I just don't have the time to do a proper job on either car. Any good recommendations?

Dentmasters in manassas does a great job detailing. I have had about 6 different vehicles done there. in the last 3 months. Ask for Troy.

I know this was asked a while ago and answered by me as well, but since this thread was revived, I thought I'd answer it again with some new info...

I just had a full detail done by Pohanka Acura on my RDX, and they did a fantastic job inside, outside and under the hood. I believe they take the vehicle to the lexus shop next door to do the detailing cause I saw them driving it over there. I unfortunately do not know how much they charge for it cause it was a freebie given to me by one of their service managers. But if interested, I'm sure you can call them up and ask them.
