Well this is amusing
I had a 12 TL for a few days when the RDX was in the shop. I like the power of the TL 3.5L engine; but, it really wasn't that much better than my 4 year old 08 RDX. I would not trade my RDX for anything less than a 12 TL Tech with 3.7L + sh-awd. Plus, the TL seemed so long and low compared to driving the compact RDX around town zipping in/out of traffic and easily getting into parking spots.
Unless they come out with a sport model RDX (better suspension + sh-awd), I will stay away from the +2013 RDX when the time comes to replace the RDX or TSX. I think a 2010-2012 MDX Advance with CT-Engineering S/C would be the best bang for the buck SUV out there. I think CT-Engineering is working on an S/C for the 09-12 TL 3.7L with sh-awd. Hopefully, it can be applied on the 07-12 MDX.

wow i had the 13 rdx as loaner yesterday too!! i also thought it felt a bit like the honda Odyssey to me! the tl-shawd doesn't give me that rush of power that some other cars do. it felt like my 03 tl even though it had like 80 more horses, perhaps maybe because it's 500lbs heavier. jeep wrangler 3.6, audi q5, 07-12 RDX, infinity G37, bmw x3 3.5i and subaru outback 3.6r are all cars i have driven at one point that feel faster than the TL or new RDX to me but they are not really so. i guess it's all about how the power is delivered.
