TPMS Junkyard Module

Anyone replaced their TPMS module with a used module. Getting both rear wheels lost communication. This is a new to me 2008 RDX. Replaced all four sensors and both rear initiators. Codes are always for either left or right rear wheels lost communication. Figure module is only thing left as the wires ohm out ok. Question is - will a used module need any coding done by dealer. I searched and see service manual info that says the sensors must be loaded to the module by the HDS. Hoping this means a factory replacement. Will a used unit just relearn the sensors with a drive?

What’s Left?

So, as stated above, keep getting sensor signal failure on both rear wheels only. I have replaced a four sensors, both initiators and the TPMS module. I have even rotated the front wheels to the back thinking the sensors were the problem. No luck. After about 20 minutes of driving I get a TPMS error. Clearing the code makes the two front tire pressures show up but dashes for the rear and then the cycle repeats. Starting to think maybe a ground issue for the tear imitators? Anyone know where the ground point is for the rear initiators or maybe point me in the right direction on how to fix this?
