From a TL to an RDX? Interior Size?
From a TL to an RDX? Interior Size?
Have had my 2007 TL since 2012 and considering making the jump to a different vehicle. I went to a lot recently to just sit in a bunch of cars and wow, most 4 door sedans felt so compact compared to my TL. I'm 6' tall and felt like many of these vehicles were very tight and my head almost hit the roof whereas, I feel quite spacious and comfortable in my TL.
I had an SUV prior and am thinking about checking out the RDX. I don't have a real need for the size of an MDX and the RDX seems to be a good potential solutions from Acura. From an interior sizing perspective, how does the RDX compare to a TL?

My 06 TSX is similar in size to your 07 TL (6'3", +270lbs). You will have way better 360 degree visibility, more upright sitting position, wider cockpit area to stretch out, and easier to park with the shorter wheel base and compact size. You will also have more interior room for four adults. I can fit my MTB in the rear if I don't feel like putting my bike rack on the hitch. My 08 RDX has more leg room compared to my 06 TSX and my 11 MDX.
The downside is upper teens/very low 20s mpgs, the 5AT should be 6AT or more, and road noise.
