I think it looks great. Like others have said, maybe some rounder edges to the lower air dam. Otherwise, nice job!

Ditto the comments on lower front air dam with the teeth. Other than that, nice work. I think you'll likely see a modder market open up for RDX in a year or two as used stock starts to become available [more affordably] for the younger set. That seems to be how it went with the S2K.

Bringing this thread from the dead. The cost to make the front lower piece to mate with the upper piece like OEM would certainly be cost prohibitive when looking at ROI. If you were to make the front spoiler as an add-on, it wouldn't work because the front bumper would then be 3-pieces (upper, lower, RJ add-on) and would look "tacked-on" and not flow correctly.

What I would like RJ to do, is a side-skirt piece used in conjunction with the factory front spoiler and the grill.

And can you do anything to the hood? Not big changes but mostly make one out of lighter materials i.e. al, or cf? Coz those hood weight a ton!

Looks great, and gives the RDX a tougher and more balanced appearance. The stakes on the bottom airdam may be a bit over the top, but still looks pretty cool. I think a fair number of people would modify their RDX; there's something about the RDX design that is missing or unbalanced. Many people complain about the tribeca back and the front underbite appearance. And of course the standard 18' wheels look undersized.

I'd love to see an aftermarket option to the front end, I'm was going to buy the oem add-on "sport" front, but its just not aggresive enough. Count me in if it ever gets made.

New to the forum here, but I'd buy the kit today if it was available. I love my RDX, which I bought to replace an RX-8 due to some back problems. I'm accustomed to modding my cars seriously, and there's nothing available for this terrific vehicle. I'll be gutting the audio system in the next several months and will post the results. Should be a challenge, but if I can accomplish it with that darn RX-8, which is an installer's nightmare, I should be able to conquer the RDX.....

Rondog,

This string is now almost 2 years old. Did you ever commercialize any of it?

Quote: was thinking of making a kit for the RDX, but it is still such a gamble at this point, I have no idea of how many people will actually want to mod it. Anyway, it has the new 20" Forged 2-piece wheels and urethane front bumper / rocker panels / grille / tinted and cleared headlights. There will also be a rear diffuser and molded mud guards.

whaddya think?

Thats a very clean set up I like the rims maybe even some 19's how much $$$$ . A Porsche Cayenne comes to mind looking at that picture .

Yeah bigboomer I think you're right. Because the passenger side tire is turned to the right while the driver side is more straight...at least not at the degree of the passenger side. If it is a true pic it's very odd. It looks like both front tires are turning in.

its definitely photoshopped, I remember seeing this pic before the RDX was even released in '06

If it were real, those wheels would be about 22'' i'd say?

So RonJon, any new revisions to the RDX concept body kit? I love the uber-agressive front-end with the lower grille continuing the pillars from the upper grill. I see this beauty everyday on my screensaver!

What do RDX owners have to do to get our hands on these?

RONDOG, I JUST FOUND OUT YOU IN YONKERS?!
It's like 5:30am this Sat and I just noticed under the vendors directory where you are located. I'm bubbling with excitement.

..and 3 min later as I looked at your avatar I just noticed the location had Yonkers too.

Sorry, nothing, but you can use the pic if you find a custom fabricator who would be willing to tackle the project.

There are lots of places in Cali. Bodykits.org will make this if you have a person there, be careful though, if you use them make sure you own the rights. I own a maxima and the other forum I am on, we made a lip for the 2007-08 maxima, which NO one made. After it was all said and done. they started selling our lip, Luckly we owned the rights. Though we had to play the lawsuite card a few times. Even after all that, the lip is all over ebay from different vendors (we still think bodykits.org is behind it, but no proof)

No matter who you use, make sure you own the rights. My two cents
