RDX headrest change?

Were there any changes to the headrests in the RDX over the model years? I have a colleague who is looking into a 2011 RDX who is unhappy with the forward tilt of the headrests. He says he has heard that the older models such as my 2008 have a different headrest design. He now has one of my headrests that he is taking to the dealer for comparison. I didn't think that there had been a change.

The headrest is designed to be that way. The vehicle has what is called active head restraints. They are designed to be that way so your head does not snap back in a rear end collision. If they move the headrest around (up or down) they should find a comfortable position. Hope that helps.
