at lease end if you want to finance the car how much do they charge to CPO the car and how much extra is the CPO extended warranty of 7 year 100,000 mile? help much appreciated. thanks guys.

I don't know for a lease end, but I paid around 1,300 when I got my car I believe.....

 

Only way you will know is if you ask the dealer.

CPO Certification: $795
-Takes one day to inspect and get certification. Any items not passing inspection must be taken care of before certification is approved.
Extended CPO Warranty 7 Year 100k Miles: $995
-Starts day of your original contract. So if you leased/finance your car on 1/1/08, your warranty will end at 1/1/15 or 100k miles. You would also qualify for CPO lease/finance rates.
Acura Care Extended Warranty 8 Year 120k Miles: ???

I too am interested in this thread, though I'm a little confused...

Are you talking about getting "your" vehicle CPO certified at lease-end in order to qualify for some kind of reduced extended-warranty cost ??

My RDX lease is up in about a month and given that the buy-back is a lot less than market value (first time I've had this in 4 or 5 lease cars), I am contemplating buying it.

However, I am curious to know what types of extended warranties might be available from Acura and what they might cost ?

Great information hl0m4n, i too am currently in the process of getting my Acura CPO'ed with the 7 year extended warranty (gotta have it on the RDX with all that sh-awd and turbo moving parts). Did you get the special financing as well?

 

CPO: $795+Tax (3/5/10)

-Standard 1 year/12,000 miles limited warranty & 7 years/100,000 miles powertrain limited warranty.

-Standard limited warranty matched with powertrain limited warranty, 7 Years/100,000 miles.
-Applies when buying new CPO car ($995+Tax) or lease end CPO finance ($795+$995+Tax).

Acura Care Extended Warranty: (? On Price)
-Applies to new financed/leased cars with less then 5,000 miles.
-Both standard and powertrain warranty extended to 8 years/120,000 miles.
