Purchase help: 07 used or 09 demo

Hoping I can hear some great advice; purchasing today.

07 nontech rdx - 24k miles - 24000$ from ford dealer - 1 previous owner

09 tech rdx - demo car - 8k miles - 28000$ from acura

Both cars in good condition for mileage. Intend to keep car for longtime.

Thanks!
KJ

No contest....demo. You get the tech, a two year newer car, 1/3 the miles, and for only $4K more.

Contrary to common 'wisdom', I'm a fan of buying demos. I've bought two in my life, and they fall at #1 and #2 for the most reliable cars I have ever owned. My theory is that they get beat on - which flushes out the problems early so they can get fixed before I get the car.

demo - Tech is worth at least $2K, so you're getting 2 years depreciation plus 16k miles for $2K.

I'd say the tech 'costs' $2K....as to whether it is 'worth' $2K, I think that is completely debatable...

Agreed, we had our CRV which was stolen but was a demo and it was outstanding no issues at all until 156k when it was stolen...picked up the RDX as a demo as well (well manager driven vehicle), again no problems major problems so far...only 44k on it thoe.

Demo, cuz you will get 2 more years of warranty, tech package, power passenger seats, and less milages for an extra $4000.

the price for the used non-tech is rediculous regardless, you can buy an 09 base new for 5k more.....not sure how i feel about the 09 demo....if it were me, id try to find an 09new...ppl have been buying them for under 30k.

if the demo is as close as you can get, then maybe

demo with no hesitation - unless a brand new 09 with tech costs less than $30k.

Demo for sure. I'm riding in an '07 tech and I love the tech package. I had the option to go for an '08 at the time and I regret it now because of the lack of memory seats.
