Just wanted to say I have been browsing this board for the last couple of days and there is some great info here!

I am picking up my new RDX on Monday and can't wait. I have never been this excited about a car in my life!!

Here are the details:
Moroccan Red Pearl with Taupe Interior and the Tech package!

It was the only red on the lot and from reading here it seems that the red is not too popular but I just love it. Until I went to the dealer, I had never seen one on the road but fell in love with it.

So I was wondering, what is one feature that you didn't know it had that you now couldn't do without??

Congratulations on your new RDX! Have fun driving it! Red with tuape interior is a great combo. I would have done the same, but my last three cars where this color and I thought it was time for a change.

 

I've got a red/taupe and love the combo! I haven't seen another one yet and after you wax and wash it, the color looks fab.

a favorite unknown feature for me was that the passenger side mirror automatically tilts down when you put in reverse so you can see how close you are to the curb.

 

My favorite hidden feature: when you activate the paddle shifters, the gear number is displayed at the far right of the instrument panel. I wish it was displayed all the time even in D mode, though.

I've never seen a red RDX. Are you male or female? I think some colors will be more popular with certain genders.

 

I am female, maybe that is true. Although at the dealer they had about 30 total and only one red one so I guess they just didn't make a lot.

 

That is a cool feature! Combined with the rear camera backing out must be so easy!

 

Does yours actually do this? Mine doesn't and I wish it did. Is mine broken?

 

is your switch on the right position? it needs to be in that position to work.

Ah, I had my switch in the middle position. I thought the L and R positions were only for adjusting. I didn't know if you left it in the R position, then it adjusts to see the curb as you reverse. Thanks!
