Has anyone found a aftermarket grill? I am looking for something a little more stylish.

just paint the inner part of the air scoop to match your exterior paint, looks fantasic and no changing of parts needed

Love the grill and ride overall!

Ever considering meshing the vent below ? and paint that grill too. Or a light smoke on the headlights?

So can you give us the scoop on what you used and how exactly you did this?

I took off bottom clips to slide the grill and used black nylon tie wrap to hold.
Top removed upper clips by the radiator to slide thru and do the same.
Trim the grill little bit bigger and used the plier cutter to trim section by section.
Good luck.

"Pilot" aluminum? do you mean from a Honda Pilot car? which part? which year? or is the aluminum mesh 'generic'? where did you purchase it? is each grill top and bottom one single mesh part? a bit more info would be appreciated. I understand your post about 'how' you did it. Now please let us know where you got the material - thanks.

I like the look, and the idea. I would like to do this myself on my wife's car. There is already a small rock chip in the black paint on the bottom of the A/C condensor core.

Indeed nice - is the mesh painted, or perhaps anodized? and I cannot quite tell how it is attached to the original grill. I checked at www.pilotautomotive.com but could not find the mesh. Where did you purchase the black mesh? Thanks.

It's anodized but it's been purchased locally and I cannot identify the manufacturer.

Sorry to disappoint, Mugen (MOO-g,in) is a race company. The rdx's don't have a market over there, all if any are special imports and not JDM. Mugen works with JDM, They did have a turbo Jazz(fit) many years ago.

I have been eyeballing the bumpers of the crv to the rdx, but the heavy price tag for genuine. And the likely hood they don't fit, I don't see a justifiable gain to buying them. Except custom fitted to be/ look different. Mugen has good/low weight wheels, radiator cap, Res covers, and interior aceesories: then you could put a Mugen badge on your rdx. Even though RDXs are USDM

BTW, looks good.

How did you guys paint the silver scoop, did you go to a paint shop to color match the factory paint or did you do it yourself with a spray can?

Hey little blazer have u come across any problems as far as air flow? I read that the front grill acts like an air scoop and you shouldn't restrict the airflow with a mesh grill. If you haven't had any problems I'm going to follow in your footsteps and do mine cuz your loOks sweet
