Picked up a White/Ebony Tech RDX today !

I had the choices narrowed down to a Honda Pilot EX-L w/Navi or the RDX. I finally came to my senses and realized that I would regret not getting all the goodies that came with the RDX.
My first Mod is going to be the elctrochromatic rearview mirror from hondacuraworld.com. Second mod will probably be the trailer hitch (for the bike rack) and I'm thinking about the back up sensors. They look pretty easy to install.

First trip was up to Mulholland Drive and Stunt Road.....

Very sweet! The more I see the white ones the more I like them..I really think the red is the only color that I dont care for. I think prob the black looks best, but I said never again for black so finally stuck with my words this time and got the Graphite Pearl gray. I thinks it s a nice looking gray.

And your pics of the interior just remind me again why I get excited to drive this thing everyday still...such a great interior. Fit, finish, feel..first rate..sorry, no pun intended...

 

Congrats Rizzo! Nice looking vehicle. First RDX posted on the curves of Mulholland. Great road to test the SH-AWD. Did it handle well?

I looked at Keyes as well. Hope you got a good price.

and on the Pilot, I drove that thing to toronto with a friend. Boring ass car. I made sure i had tons of coffee to keep me awake.

I'm from brooklyn. got the car from dch montclair in jersey. I originally thought bronze was cool, then grey... but the wife wanted white. It grew on me immediately when I saw all of them side by side at their lot.

coincidence we got the same exact cars, I'm also a big fan of the jerky boys. only parts 1 and 2 and some of 3.

Sweet ride! Congrats. I am getting more anxious by the day to get my Element sold so I can pick up my RDX. Arrrgg.

 

Hint: I traded my 2006 Ford Ranger to the acura dealer after trying to sell it for almost a month without one phone call. Just sucked it up and took the hit.
Sticker was $20k, Paid $15k, got $10.5K on a trade 13 mos later. Typical for american brands.
FYI: When I was looking at Pilots - dealers routinely went below invoice by $1k on Pilots and 06 Elements.

Yeah, it is an idea I am contemplating. If a month goes by with no calls, I may end up taking the hit, we'll see. It would be about $2k off what I THINK I could get by selling the Element private party. Used cars in most cases just never bring the value you think they will. Plus the Element is such an acquired taste for a lot of people, and on top of that, mine is a stick; maybe I'm better off cutting my losses. Thanks for letting me know I wouldn't be alone on the hit, though.

Have you tried cars.com. My friend sold his there within 3 days after listing. The guy paid cash. Literally!

 

I did cars.com, auto trader, recycler & LA Times. No calls.
2006 Ford Ranger, retail book was $16.5K I had it in for $14.5k - no calls in 3 weeks.

CarMax offered $10k, got $10.5 from the dealer as a trade. I did not buy it as an investment, but jeez that's a big hit in one year! Just made me more careful this time when selecting because it torques me to pay tax and license again - the Govt is the big winner when you trade too early!

I feel your pain. This makes the Acura look even better. My research leads me to the conclusion they hold their resale value rather well.
