Local Dealer

The local dealership (and the dealerships on the outer islands are the same owner). They quoted me MSRP and the local dealer has 14 RDX's on his lot. Salesman told me they haven't sold any in 2 months. Anyone know a dealer who might ship to Hawaii (I tried a Portland dealer but he said he got into trouble selling to Hawaii).
Aloha

Pflueger

Yes Pflueger. I'm told they won't drop pricing until the MDX's are all sold - pricing overlap. They said MSRP.

they have their own little monopoly there. I don't see what would stop you from purchasing in california and shipping to HI. What's the difference there than me being in virginia buying it in maryland? If you can get the vehicle $3k less on the mainland, it won't cost you $3k to ship it to HI.

Sorry - Should have said until the 2006 MDX's are sold. A dealer in Califorina quoted me $32.000.00 including Acura shipping charges and wheel locks.
Aloha

I have no problem purchasing from Pflueger, I purchased from them in 1990.

If I lived in Hawaii, Id buy a RDX from somewhere else, just so I didnt support Mr. Pflueger. I was there a couple of months ago, and a few locals told me stories what he is up to with his construction business. Seems like some pretty immoral stuff.

Yes, it only costs at most US900 or less to ship the car from California to Toronto. If not the warranty and odometer issues, I guess all of us from Canada would be buying from US, and the dealers in Canada would be scared the shXX out of it.
