Has anyone managed to install the Acura Music Link TTS on Windows XP x64? I can't install it on my setup because it wants a "service pack 2" which doesn't exist for Windows XP x64. I would greatly appreciate it if someone knows of a workaround. Thanks.

If you get the Music Link option, you can hookup your Ipod to the Audio system. The TTS is the Text-to-Speech software that you run with iTune to make easy to navigate the music on your iPod via the RDX's audio controls. Without it, it's a crap shoot as to what song is next. I have no control over my 5K+ songs on my iPod. What if I'm in the car with my Mother or Girlfriend and one of my gangster rap or XXX song came on.

So how does Windows XP x64 come into play? Are you trying to download this feature into iTunes and your iPod using Windows x64? Do you have to teach your iPod how to recognize your speach patterns then move your iPod over to MusicLink to use the feature?

iTunes installs on Windows XP x64. The TTS will run on Windows XP x64 if you can install it on Windows XP x64. The install for TTS looks for service pack 2 that is needed for Windows XP x32 but not need or doesn't exist for Window XP x64.

I'm thinking I will try to install TTS on my work computer and copy the executable files to my Windows XP x64 computer.

i always thought that the music link was like a dension...

so ur tellin me that with this music link and the TTS n windows thing, u can navigate and see which songs/playlist ur using on the ipod and the navi screen via audio controls?
