^ BTW thats a negotiating peice to say right there.. also if it is on the lot longer then a month they will be more eager to sell it.. since they have to pay interest on the vehicles. also if you are serious about purchasing.. then throwing down a serious price and saying youll drive it off the lot that day if they agree can help too

I know you don't want a 2010, but we bought 2010 CPO tech package with only 1,945 miles on her for $32,000 Nov 2010.
IMO I would offer no more than $26,000 firm.

Man...just checked KBB and NADA and both of them have the 2009 at least $30,000.
My 2010 is now worth more than $2000 than I paid for it almost a year ago.
Real strange.

kingkong222...without knowing what part of the country you live in and what RDX's are fetching from auctions, the amount of wiggle room would be guess work on our part. If you know someone who has access to Mannheim, ask him/her what RDX's are going for now...and then figure out the wiggle room. Otherwise, look on KBB and use the fair/good trade-in value as a starting point. Just my $0.02 worth.

ok guys, dealer (used car dealership) is playing games with me. I live in Atlanta and they apparently took the car off the listing (cars.com). I don't see it with that price any more or even it being listed. The internet sales guy kept telling me that he still has the car and won't budge on the $29,999 price. He wanted me to come by to do a test drive. I don't believe him because I know he will do a bait and switch, which I don't have the time to do that. I'm gonna pass on this one and wait for others. I'm in no hurry. Gonna see what I can get for my 335i on Craigslist before I really set my foot in the dealership. Again, I don't really want anything past 09.

Its not the market for buyers its the market for sellers.. people are holding on to there older cars longer and the japan quake didnt help.. honestly dont see prices going down for another year or so.. anything pre quake was 3-4K cheaper now dealerships are getting ballsy and not budging on alot of there sell prices.. the crappy thing about it is there are idiots out there willing to fork over the cash despite the raised prices.
