Help with "Check TPMS System" light on dash

Hi Guys. I have 2011 RDX that is lighting up "check TPMS System". I took it to a local tire repair shop and he said the driver side tire needed to be resealed. He told me to drive for 10 minutes and light would go off and it hasn't. After researching this further on my own, it sounds like TPMS Sensor needs to be replaced. I have some questions.

1. I purchased the tires from Costco. Will they just replace the TPMS Sensor without me having to buy new tires? Tires are fine.
2. Does the sensor stay on the tire or on the wheel?
3. Where can I buy OEM Acura Parts online?
4. 42753-STK-A03. Can somebody help me confirm this part number is correct?
5. I found this on amazon. Safe to purchase?

The sensor is on the valve stem, so you don't need to change tires. Generally the battery goes bad. For online Acura parts I usually go here https://www.acuraoemparts.com/?utm_s...Black-Friday-2 and get a price + shipping and take a print out of it to my local and they match the price.

Ok, looks to be about $40. As of right now, I will probably take it to a Honda dealership. I am afraid that they will probably just blame the tires and try to sell me new tires. Thanks for your help!

I took the car into Pepboys today. $88 for the left rear sensor and $22 for labor. Problem solved.

I had this issue recently and had my dealer replace all four TPMS sensors. Apparently this is common on many Hondas and Acuras at around the 10 year mark. If it comes up again from another low TPMS sensor battery, might just be worth replacing the rest of them.

$100 to basically replace a low battery sounds like a waste of money to me. Has to be a less expensive solution.

If you don't mind the light being on it doesn't effect any function other than not knowing if you have a low tire.
