Thumbs down Driver Outside Mirror

Does anyone have a problem with the driver side mirror not extending out far enough to see vehicles to your left? The dealer I questioned about the problem said that several other RDX owners have also complained.

Mine seems normal to me. I haven't noticed anything unusual or different than any other vehicle.

I always put the little spot mirrors on every car I buy. I had those on my RDX before I got home with the car from the dealership. I think they're worth their weight in gold!

All recent Hondas/Acuras I've owned allow you to make a gross adjustment to the side view mirror by physically pushing it left or right into a nominal position (you'll feel detents as you adjust) then using the electronic control for fine adjustments. Have you tried this?

Where did you put the spot, top bottom, right, left?

I agree there is a bit of a blind spot

I doubt it's an oversight on Acura's part. Try changing your seating position. . . if you aren't reclined halfway into the cargo area, I don't see this being an issue.

I put the round convex mirror on the bottom outer edge of side view mirror
to prevent blind spot

I feel blind if I drive a car without the stick-on convex mirrors. Get the biggest one that fits and place it as far out as you can. You will need to learn how to use them as cars seem much smaller in them. But you can see EVERYTHING, including the curb and anything in a blind spot.

Driver outside mirror

This is a great little wide angle which attaches to the mirror housing and blends in well. PLUS it doesn't take away from the factory mirror like the stick on's.

Correct. move the mirror all the way to the left then open the window and push the outer edge into the housing. You'll hear clicks and it'll sound like you're breaking something, but it should do the trick.

I haven't had any problems. You may want to move your seat forward.
