Denso Compressor - 2 part choices

I can't figure which one is better Fit. The Denso search gives 2 parts for the A/C compressor:

denso 471-7056
denso 471-7053

The only difference is Clutch size. Anyone have an idea which part is right? I went back and forth with Denso who was clueless.

Interestingly, when I search by a 2010 model I only get one result - 471-4056.

Acura also shows an OEM part# of 38810-RWC-A03, which replaced 38810-RWC-A02. It could be that Denso is showing both versions of the part# on their site. I don't see it on their page, but you should be able to contact them to get the exact OEM part# reference for each of the listings they show.

Yeah if you look here it seems the 7056 is for 2010-2012 but backwards compatible with G1

BTW I have a 2007

my Acura Part # is 38810RZYA01

Are you sure you need a new compressor? Just asking because my wife's 2010 Honda CRV (same compressor clutch part as the Acura) had the intermittent Clutch not engaging once it was hot symptom. Like what has been explained, reducing the space the clutch has to travel by removing the one and only washer worked. At least for one year here in Florida of all places. May be temporary, but hey, it worked so happy wife, happy life, and happy wallet. Going to sell the Honda though before summer hits and let her drive the RDX.

Thanks Thoiboi. yeah Hues its most likely the Clutch, But I'm not planning to DIY it and going in there I feel may as well spend another hundred or so and Replace the S-Belt as well.

It's so strange this thing about people raving about Denso Compressors and They aren't even making the part.

I was considering the UAC CO4920AC but 2 reviews on Amazon say they don't last. Any thoughts? I think the cheap one's are made in China.

Thanks, That’s what I needed to hear. I was just thrown off by denso being made by Sanden and the crazy difference in prices of those compressors. The denso branded is like $290 at rock auto and the same Sanden is anywhere from $350 to 500. And then there’s all these Chinese ones or other origin that claim to be Sanden 4921 types for much cheaper.

That's 290 with a CORE CHARGE, once you return the old compressor back to RA, they'll refund you 140

I don't think Amazon does core charges..
