I'll try to keep this short. Basically a few days ago a crack appeared on the bottom (in the middle) of my windshield. A rock never hit it, and hence there was no star shaped crack. I took it to the dealer today to tell them that it was defective and after a little bit of investigating the service manager agreed. So I'll be getting a brand new Acura windshield replaced under warranty at my local dealer by a 3rd-party window company. w00t

1)Do you have a roof rack?
2)Are you related to Lars Frederiksen?

 

1) Nope, but why do you ask?
2) No, but I know who he is, does that count a little bit? lol

 

They have to take the weather stripping that runs down the sides of the windshield out when they install a roof rack. Broken windshields have been an issue during the roof rack instalation, but it's usually on the side of the windshield.

I guess it counts, but you probably won't be able to talk him into doing a show in Boston.

 

Ah, gotcha. I really don't know how it got cracked...there must've been a little dink on the bottom of the glass during installation with the cold weather causing it to creak up overnight.
