Does anyone know if the RDX cruise control button is the same button used on other Honda's with a different part number?

That's the part you need, but I do not think you can swap it with anything else. It's the whole button set for the right side of the steering wheel and fits that specific spot. That site shows it in stock, but if still not available I would try oemacuraparts.com or any of the other dealer-run sites out there. Price shouldn't fluctuate much, but shipping certainly can.

This could be a possible work-around, but not sure if it would fit on the RDX. But, it seems like the tiny spring clip assembly may be shared among different Honda/Acura products. You'd have to take apart the button assembly and just swap out the spring clip under the button itself.

@Tomtwtwtw thanks for that info. seems like it's probably the same switch, and doesn't look too hard to fix.
