The cruise control on my 2004 TL will work as long as I have the button depressed, but will disengage as soon as I release the button. I am assuming there a relay in the system I should check, as it seems absurd the button would actually lock it on. Where should I go for the solution?

 

My cruise button wouldn't stay on; I had to replace it. However the only way to buy the part is with all of the steering wheel switches.
