Cleaning/Conditioning Leather Seats

What do you guys recommend for cleaning/conditioning the leather seats? How often? We had an RSX and after about 3 years started having problems with the leather cracking. Thanks....

I haven't used it yet (keep forgetting I have it), but a few years ago I bought some Meguiar's (sp?) cleaning/protectant stuff at Target or W-M that is made for auto leather. I think it has some UV protectant or something in it. As for how often, that probably depends on how much use/abuse your seats take. If they are in constant sun and under constant and heavy use, I might apply a product like this Meguiar's about once every month or two.

Don't use Armor All unless you want to slide to the floor, ha.

I imagine you could also find some stuff that's made for leather furniture and follow the directions accordingly. Although something with the UV fighter stuff would seem to be a more prudent move. I think there's also a car care section to the main Acurazine forums, you might want to search that as well.

For store brands, use Meguiar's.

For online or catalog, I would recommend Griot's Garage (www.griotsgarage.com). All top notch products.

I will second a recommendation for Lexol. I have used on all of my cars for the last 15 years. They all looked great from the time I got them until they were sold. Although admittedly, I haven't owned a car for more than 3 years so that may not be a huge endorsement.

I use the Zaino 10 "leather in a bottle". Has sunscreen, isn't greasy, and makes my car smell like a new baseball glove...great stuff.

Double ditto. Lexol has separate conditioning and cleaning products both of which are great. I use the conditioner every couple of months and the cleaner about once a year. They are also great for leather furniture!
