I'm in the market for new roof rails and saw that the new 2013 has silver rails. Wondering if anyone has investigated if they'll fit the first gen RDX's?

They are two completely different vehicles, I would be surprised if they fit. You can just paint the OEM black silver if you want...I bet it would be easy.

I read somewhere on here that the roof rails give a little bit, this way it can flex to fit the roof. I figured maybe the 2013 would so somethign similar. Painting the roof rack silver was my second option.

Yes I've upgraded to an MDX. The RDX rails have a bit of flexibility (kind of a sleeve) where the crossbars go in and out of the piece that attaches to the rails (roof gets narrower or wider as you move to the front). I don't really know how the 2013 rails work. Go to home depot and buy yourself a couple of cans of silver paint.
