August Lease Incentives

August Lease Incentives
Another longtime RDX forum lurker here, coming out of the woodwork. Appreciate all the valuable info. gleaned off this site, from all of you.
Looking to lease RDX-Tech. With start of the new month, any word on possible new lease incentives on 2007's, to close out the model year? $1000 dealer cash available on lease deals, etc.? (Love the RDX, it's my first choice, but lease incentives for the Nissan Murano have been so much better lately; also fairly good deals available on Infiniti FX35's.) .. Not my intent to argue the merits of one over the other, just mentioning options that seem worth considering, given the significant lease cost differences.
I'm new to crossovers and new to Acura, and have to say that so far I have not been impressed with our local Acura's dealer's reluctance to divulge lease numbers (maybe because they have not been competitive?) , and his apparent total indifference to parting with his several 2007 RDX's sitting on his lot the past two months; compared to how the competitors are always calling or e-mailing back to ask what they can do to make a deal, earn the business, etc.... Is this typical of Acura dealers nationwide, or perhaps just the odd one salesman I happened on??. Any thoughts/help appreciated. Thanks.

IMO, a 08 would be a better deal to lease than a 07 - mainly due to better money factor and residual.
In the Midwest, almost every dealer I negotiated with was up front with all of the leasing incentives, terms, specs, etc... One in particular is a member here, jcbridges, who I have the utmost respect for and would trust.

Per Roadfly.com, acura 07 rdx (non Tech) 52% residual and .00290 money factor(6.96%).
07 rdx (tech) 49% residual .00290 money factor.
07 fx35 55% residual and .00103 money factor(2.47%)
The infinti fx35 is much more competitive, you could probably take off $2,000 to $3,000 off a fx or rdx. The fx will cost you about $7.000 to $8,000 more, but the better lease terms for the fx35, should be pretty close in payment.
The rdx has good finance specials(apr)
