I think alot of people would. But if you are interested order on their site. Maybe we can get heeltoe to make them again. Only 4 more people needed.

 

I would get in on this but I need to know the price difference between shipping to Toronto, Canada or picking it up in Cleveland Ohio... I know the difference will be significant but if its less than what gas would cost me I dont see the point in driving. I tried using the estimator on the website but it doesnt seem to work. Can anyone give me some ballpark numbers? if not ill have to wait for ht to get back to me

Is the shipping much cheaper to Niagra? I managed to check the shipping prices and it came out to about $400 shipped to my door. Thats with the standard shipping though. I just cant decide if I want these or if I want to save a bit more and get the bc coilovers... slamming it in the summer and raising it back up for the winter would be pretty awesome. The eibachs would be more of a happy medium haha. How many more orders do we need to get this production going?

 

Just don't over-estimate the adjustment range on the BCs...

I just hate paying brokerage and duty fees from ups, It was cheaper to ship to niagara. Then I just declare them on my way back pay my taxes.

Works out cheaper than shipping via ups. Closer to the date of them being made. We can always change it to them being shipped here I would imagine.

The way I was counting was me, misc user number 3, vaprea, you and Szwed were ready to order and pay. That would be 5 more paid orders on top of the 4 that have already paid would be 9 paid. But it would be up to Heeltoe. It's only 1 set away so hopefully they can do it. We will get our springs in time for summer and they will have the rest in stock for those looking to mod their cars in the summer.

 

With 9 down, we would need only ONE MORE. You are talking about growing the list to 14 and getting 9 paid. I'd hope the other 1-5 people would be all in on it after that as well and we would be looking great!

 

I can confrim and pay whenever but im still trying to figure out the cheapest shipping option, some members have messaged me saying they could drive it down for me so ill let you guys know. Consider me confirmed and paid.

 

Also, in reference to my last post... would combined shipping be possible?

I'm extremely interested in these of course. I've posted a question on Heal Toe's site, but I guess I should just post it here. If we get 10 paid, how close is the 90 day estimate of getting these done? I don't want to have us all pay for these, and 6 months to a year we still don't have our springs. 3 months or so, to get this going, fine. But I don't want to have money sitting out there for much longer than that. If it's 6 months, and we are still waiting, is the money fully refundable?

 

Szwed: We can ship stateside if that helps, and we can ship more than one kit together but it won't save anything. One heavy item with a small light item shipped inside saves money. Two heavy items shipping together doubles the weight and the cost. I suggest you place an order online and use the pay later option. Put a note in the order comments to quote out the cheapest shipping, and we will get the estimate and let you know the total. Or, you can pay for the springs now and the shipping later. At least if you get an order in I can add you to the list.

REVTEC: When we place the order with Eibach they told us about 90 days for production. We might need a little extra time for some logistics but it should ship right around that mark. We are dealing with Eibach here...they should have a pretty good handle on their production schedule. Of course if the whole thing goes to hell we can refund you. If you back out there might be a small fee of about 5%.

You can remove me from the list. When I was originally interested (August 2012)...I didn't expect for this group buy to take so long. I don't want to tie my money up waiting for these to go into production, which will be at least another 3 months after 10 are paid. Sorry guys.

This is one of the main reason I gave up.

Alot of people want parts for the RDX but think the marketplace is like the STI and EVO where you can get a downpipe , exhaust or springs for dirty cheap.

Search the forums - there were people here since 2006 and still haven't had a solid production on a downpipe nor a piggyback system.

Yet people think they can pickup a downpipe for 200 or something.
This is why Hondata is making money on their reflash because it gives you a little more boost.

But what happens when you want more power?

People seems to jump for joy for th reflash when even the crz and honda element has a flashpro.

We are already in 2013 (7 years later) and acura already left the turbo engine in the dark.

You guys have to also think from the vendor side like Heel toe.

If his minimum order with Eibach is 25 springs - He needs 10 solid buyers to put up the money first for their part and he can take care of the rest.

You are not thinking if he gets stuck with 15 springs and won't be able to sell it. You are thinking only - wow this group buy is taking too long and I am not sure if I want in or out.

This is why almost all the RDX groupbuy went down the drain.
If you are serious about purchasing something - put in the money - other will see the list growing and will jump on the deal if they want the spring.

All this negative talk about taking too long will only just push other away.
Alot of people is talking about they want this and that part but doesn't put their money where their mouth is.

I on the other hand had did almost everything to the RDX until there was nomore toys to play with.

 

Ironically, if the three people who dropped off the list and those who have ordered but not paid would all have paid already, we would be putting in a PO today and getting springs in the Spring. I am sorry these things need to be a community effort, but it must be this way. I am not going to budge on this one either. JCRDX, I definitely need to get more than 10 to get these made....and more than 25. Try doubling that. What I am asking you guys to preorder is less than half what this project is going to cost up front. I fully expect to have RDX spring inventory for the next 2 years at least. The dumbest part about it...those of you who want the springs but don't want to wait for them will only be waiting for them longer by not pre-ordering.
