The ride is the same if not better then with the 18's & the 20's are a lot quieter.

 

20s is definitely the way to go!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE those 20's! On a scale of 1 to 5 (1 minimal, 5 greatly) how much more do they help improve the quietness?

 

What tire size did you go with?

 

I moved to an RDX from my TL (which was very quiet) and found it to be noisy. With the 20's I would say the improvement from the factory tires is a 4. The tire size I went with is 255/45R20.

 

i also went with a 255/45 isnt it great! only problem i have is about 60 mph road noise is a bit on the loud side. other than that love the ride. did you get Toyo proxies? cant really tell from the pic. i love the feel from my Toyos

Yes they are Toyo Proxies.

I have not been on freeway yet but up till now they have been a lot quieter.
