2008 RDX won't start. HELP!!!

First of all sorry for my bad English.
So this morning I drove my little brother to school and after that I stopped behind the red light. When I tried to accelerate when it came to green light, the car shocked for couple times and ran at very slow pace. The warning lights started to flash like crazy, the monitor at the middle turned off, but the car was still running. The lights showed including "check emission system", "check SH-AWD system", etc. I was scared and fortunately my uncle's house is nearby. I switched the engine off and I couldn't restart it anymore. Only the click sounds came out but the car just won't start. Also I can't lower the windows without start the engine. Now my uncle is trying to charge the battery to see if it is the problem or not.
I really don't know what to do right now especially my parents are not here and I am only a college student without any repair experience about the car. We just bought it for about 4 months from other people and it is used car. Any ideas or suggestions for me?

My RDX did this a few months ago. My alternator wasn't charging the battery enough and the RDX was drawing extra juice from the battery and eventually ran the volts down so low to cause the RDX lite up like a X-mas tree and it would not start unless it sat for while. Recharging the battery will give you enough charge to get home or to a repair shop. I was able to get a replacement alternator from a chain store and take to local repair shop for repair. I think I spent under $300 for the repair ($175 alternator, $100 labor, tax, $$$ back for core return). I think the dealership wanted +$600 to fix.

Dead battery for sure - were there any lights on before the rest of the issues started up? Usually a bad alternator will throw a warning light, but not always. I'd change the battery first, and from there get the alternator tested just to be sure, so you don't end up getting stranded again. Double check the battery terminals - they can be prone to corrosion, which (if not cleaned) over time can destroy the terminal and result in completely different kind of fun.
