2008 Rdx

Anywho, anyone that has solid, concrete evidence please stand up!!!!!

What is all this talk about the suspension? I like the suspension the way it is. It makes me feel like I'm driving a sports car. Now only if they could add a manual to the lineup.
Interesting. I emailed two local dealers about the "suspension retuning" for the 08 and got categorically opposite responses. One said "I confirmed they have softened the ride for the ’07 RDX models. That did start in the March production." The other said "In reference to the internet rumor question, that is exactly what they are. I spoke directly with Acura yesterday and was told there was not and will not be a suspension change. There was no suspension change mid year and there will not be one in 2008. The RDX's ride firmness is a characteristic of it's very sporty performance oriented capabilities. I have noticed a mild reduction in the ride with the RDX Tech package. Mostly due to the michelin tires put on the Tech model as opposed to Bridgestone for the base model." So who knows?! I faxed the national Acura Client Services the question and I am awaiting their response. It is surprizing to me that such a simple question is so difficult to answer.

Sorry! JMHO!
Oh, & by the way.. some of us must have got luck, (or cursed, depending on how you see things!) I have Michelins on my BASE model! No wonder the ride isn't as rough as some here say!

I was just going by this quoted in the previouis post....."I have noticed a mild reduction in the ride with the RDX Tech package. Mostly due to the michelin tires put on the Tech model as opposed to Bridgestone for the base model."

TSX - All Michelins
TL - Base: Bridgestone Tech: Michelin
MDX - Base: Bridgestone Tech (and up): Michelin
RDX - Not sure now, but think just the Michelin Pilot HX MXM4
After my last bit of CONFIRMED news, I'm a little gunshy!!

The 2007 RDXs all came with Michelins, no Bridgestones from the factory. The 19" wheels are matched up with dunlops from Acura, but I'm sure some people got other tires on the 19s if they really wanted to as I'm sure some dealers are more accomodating on that than others.
Newbie says hello
Just joined this forum and wanted to say hi...
Anyways, me and my wife are considering the 2008 base RDX because of the need of memory seat (it's a hassle to adjust the seat and mirrors without the memory feature). I have contacted a few Acura dealers in the SF Bay Area, and none of them has one on the lot. Plus, some of them said '08s won't be in until September (they're probably trying to sell me an '07). It seems some of you on the forum are able to get the 2008s right now (you lucky bastards
), I wonder how long do we have to wait for '08s? We want to take the 2.9% APR, which will end on 9/4, but not sure if we're able to get an '08 before it ends. Anyone in the Bay Area has the same situation?
Thanks,
Tim

If you read the 2008 specifications on the website under safety features for the base it says: TPMS with location indicator. Now if you go to the Tech package features it says TPMS with location and PRESSURE indicators. So sounds like the base does not have the pressure part on it. Maybe someone that has the 2008 base model can verify this.

sorry, but i've read the manual and can't seem to find it anywhere, but does the 2007 tech model actually show the psi of each tire? if so, how can i access that in the MID?
or is it that it just shows which tire falls below the recommended pressure?
thanks.

Current deals
I have been waiting for the 08's to come out for the memory seat. Plan to purchase in about 30 days and am wondering what kind of deals people are getting on the new ones. It seems as though the 07's were selling at invoice or close. My local dealer (Los Angeles area) received two last week. Drove the car, liked the car will buy the car. Want the best deal. Thanks for any advice.

Don't mean to take away from the cooling fan issue, but where the hell are our LED lights Acura?!
LED Lights are Fuel Efficient
According to the article, cars equipped with LED lights save about a gallon of gas a week vs. ones with traditional bulbs.
That and they just look slick.
