I was wondering if anybody had pictures of the '08 MDX prototype?

 

same here...Acura is keeping a lid on this baby...no spy pics anywhere

 

The Acura MDX "semi-concept" vehicle will be REVEALED at the NEW YORK AUTO SHOW April 14th-23rd, 2006......what that means is, that it will be virtually identical to the production vehicle except for some "fancy" rims etc, which will obviously not make it to "production".

The production vehicle will hit dealerships sometime in October or November of 2006 as a 2007 model

Parts manager, Tim Poliniak of Ray Laks Acura ( www.hondacuraworld.com ), in upstate New York has the "accessories pre-order sheet" and has already pre ordered tons of accessories for the expected arrival of Oct/Nov this year!!. Besides this, the district rep has also confirmed with Tim that the MDX will be revealed at the New York Auto Show, and the that the release will be fall of this year.......Tim's "accessory pre-order sheets" indicate the following:

There will be an "MDX HYBRID" model and an "MDX Sport" model!!...Very exciting!!

I'm seriously considering the MDX Hybrid model depending on it's specs
(How much more expensive - real world pricing - than the regular model??
How much of a performance gain??
and How much of a fuel economy gain??)

Official word right now is that the concept will be unveiled at the New York Auto Show and in proper Acura tradition, they're being incredibly tight-lipped about it.

 

They are good about it too, aren't they?
