NSX Quandary

My g/f pops is offering to sell his 1999 NSX w/ 30000 miles for $25k. I currently dont have a garage as I currently live in apts. that do not have any.I have no clue about the maintenance cost of the vehicle over the years nor do I know how to drive a stick!!!!!!!! So, do balls up and buy or pass and admit its too much car for me. TIA!

Pass it to me.

That is a rather low price for a 1999, though. There are early models from '91-'93 selling for that much with many more miles.

This make take a while, but if thngs don't work out, I will keep you in mind! He ideally wants to keep it within close family range and is offering me a very favorable deal. I just dont have anywhere to keep the damn thing if I got it. I guess I have to weigh my options. The car is in Cali at the moment and has pampered for the years he's had it.... I'm literally shitting on myself, I got to figure something out..

I'm assuming that's why it's so cheap, then; b/c it's for you.

That is an incredible deal though for that model year & mileage. I say snatch it up.

Then give me a ride in it.

Angry

Sorry guys, I've been pretty bummed out. I've learn the car has been basically totaled . The guy watching over it, practically totaled it and is now having the work done to restore it. From my understanding, he lost control and side-swiped a tree. Even though it will be restored, I just don't see it as a worthy investment.

Wow, what a shame. I can't believe how pristine looking it was, too.
