Offset question for 5 lug conversion
I am about to complete my 5 lug conversion, but I ran across a minor detail. The offset for my conversion is going to be about 1.5" meaning that my wheel will be out an extra 1.5" from the rotor hub. I plan to lower my car, not far only about 1.5" with the prokit, but do you think that I will have major rubbing problems. Also, do you think the oversteer will be bad since the wheels are out farther? Opinions or input would be helpful.

Have you measured from the tires and seen if it would run into the fenders?

I'm having adapters custom fabricated from aircraft aluminum, to convert 4x114.3" to 5x114.3" that is why my wheels will be sticking out, because of the adapters. If the adapters work out, I plan to mold widebody fenders

In that link I posted, III has 5mm spacers and it pushed his wheels out quite a bit.

they gotta be nice if you went through all that trouble to do the 5 lug conversion...

they're WELL worth it. I have the adapters being fabricated, and it was a HUGE pain in the ass getting them but I think that it'll all be worth it.
NooB doin the same
yo, I'm tryin to do the same to my '97 3.0.. right now I have 17" chrome lexani's. If anyone's from Jax,FL yeah I'm the dude with the white..tint...chrome..spoiler. I just 'inherited' a pair of 18's but they're 5x4.5 and everyone around here looks at me like im speakin chinese when I mention adapters...so can I get some more info about that prelude conversion?
