Adr?
Adr?
Sorry to start a new thread... I'm sure this brand has been discussed before... But you can't search for ADR because its too short... so ne way
Has ne one had experience with ADR wheels? For example:

You and I will probably get flamed for this, but I actually have them and I am pretty happy so far. I would like something nicer, but I don't have a ton of money for it. The only thing I am worried about is having them get bent from potholes or something. If I could buy rims again I would get the axis mod sevens...noice.
yea... thats why I'm thinkin about going with them... I have probably the least amount of money possible to still be able to work on my car sorta...
I mean they look good... better than stock... and do they seem like they are gonna get bent from potholes? that unsturdly built?

Several people have had ADR's on here, but they're not super popular because they are cheap and generic, those rims you posted above are phat though

alright, here goes.
205/55R16, which is a stock CL tire
Let me break it down.
205- width of your tire. This would be how wide your tire is from side to side
55- height of the sidewall. Take the distance between where the rim meets the tire, and go to the outside edge of the tire.
R- Radius, math class FTW!
16- Size of the rim, in inches.

i see... this is measured in millimeters im speculating? and so... If i went 17's then i would want like... 35 sidewall? so that it is approxiamtly the same?

woah man, 35's on a 17 would be real bad, plus you'd be way off on the speedo.
Think 45's, that's a nice fit on 17's, maybe 50's if you like more sidewall, but 45 should do.
for 18's, think 40 series rubber, no bigger. But don't go rollin on 35's unless you want bent rims like subbuzz.
If you're looking for a good size on 17's, go with a 215/45, that'll look real nice without worrying about rubbing at all.

oops... i read that wrong i saw it as 45... so then i took some off that to get 35... i meant to say 45 or 40ish cuz 55 is way too gigantic ... but i also dont want as slim as the ronjon ad at the top right...

haha... yea... so with this I would want 40 tire right?
I'm trying...
Use this tool to see how the tire sizes affect your speedometer: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
The stock size is 205/55/R16.

17x35 would look horrible. unless it was slammed totally to the ground, and even then it wouldn't look right. If I did 17s I would put at least 45s on there.
are those 40's? or less or more?
