Well about a week ago my wipers stopped working. Well i just checked to see if the motor worked. and it does becasue each level it goes faster and faster. Well im wondering why wont the wipers move? can anyone help. thanks

 

ur nylon connectors probably came unsnapped. do i search for "play in wiper mechanism" you will find all the info u need....good luck

mines opposite once i turn it on i have to turn the ign off before it goes off

 

This is what fell on ny car. I just figured it out. Now does anyone know what i need to do to put it back on?

 

ok so u removed that?..is that what your going for?...and found something disconnected?...im a little lost with what you are asking..if all u want to kno is how to put it back in just reverse what you did to remove it...its tricky tho...sometimes easiest to remove the brace holding the two ends together(the part which bolts on both ends) and install the assembly then bolt that brace on

 

i had this happen to me, don't open the hood with the wipers up!!

 

@ 97'Cl- no i found this picture on another thread. But what is circled in red is what is diconnected on my car. The whole wiper system is still in my car. But im wondering how to reconnect that rod that is circled in red.

 

not sure how to reconnect that rod, if its some type of rivet you can drill it out and put a bolt and nut on it, that is if you can get to it. if you can't get to it you may have to remove the mechanism to drill it out and bolt it up. I have no experience in this so I am just throwing out suggestions

 

Im going to take it out now to see what i can do hopefully i come out of this with it fixed.
