Window Weather Stripping keeping windows from rolling down

ok, i searched and i couldn't find anything about this topic before
So i just replaced the window regulator on my driver's side window, it's been a few months since i took out the broken motor and just propped up the wndows.
Since i had the whole driver's side panel off, i couldn't operate either window for those months.
Now when i finally put the regulator in, the windows both work, but they catch on the weather stripping at the bottom on the outside of the door, slowing the windows down, and stressing the motors.
has anybody else experienced this?
they've never caught like this before on the weatherstripping, and i may just need to condition it a little or something, but i don't know.

any feedback is greatly appreciated

From: is everything.
I've seen it happen before but just from the car being smashed up in the past. Try waxing your windows.
