I noticed today that my speedometer is stuck at 17-18 mph. when I turn the car off, it goes back down to 0. Even when I'm going faster than 20, it still stays at that same mark. however, when I slow down from above 20, the speedo oscillates back and forth between like 12 and 18. Also, what's really confusing is that it sometimes works and sometimes does what I've described above... Any help is greatly appreciated, as I have to make a 3 hour drive to Indiana on Friday night...

Where is it, and how do I change it? Also, any ideas on cost?

 

dont fix it, if you get pulled over just be like sir, i was going 18......

lol my buddy has a 1st gen and same thing, his was stuck at 0, the VSS i believe wasnt expensive at all, quick fix.
