drive cycle?
Have you recently reset your computer by disconnecting the battery or pulling the radio fuse? If not you should be ready to go. If it was reset because your trying to clear a check engine light, then usually the light will come back on by the time the drive cycle is complete= failing inspection
The check engine light was on and I had a oxygen sensor replaced and the cleared the check engine light. I took it back through inspection and it passed the emissions test, but the last section hadn't reset, so they said it had completed a drive cycle yet. I was just wondering how long to wait before trying again.
How much did you drive it prior to sending it to inspection?
Honda does not disclose the drive cycle to the public. I am surprised you need to complete "a" drive cycle. I thought it was three driving cycles for the ECU flags to be set to "ready" state. The typical thing to do is drive through a full tank of gas, with highway, city and red light stops. You will also need to go through a few cold engine starts. Usually I just drive to and from work for a week and I can have it inspected on the weekend.
