slave cylinder noise

hey guys, I have a 1999 acura cl 2.3 and the slave cylinder is making this noise like a belt squealing. I know its the slave cylinder b/c when i barely touch the clutch pedal it stops making noise. now this is a new slave cylinder and the old one did the same thing. any ideas ?

Find it odd how the slave cylinder could be making noise... It should be under constant pressure from the clutch itself. It would have to be a loud noise for you to hear it in the car, are you sure it's not the master cylinder or the pedal assembly?

Tehvine thanks for the response, its not the master cylinder b/c you can clearly hear it coming from the slave cylinder. as i said above the minute i slightly touch the clutch pedal it stops. Now its makes this noise everyday when i drive but not the whole time. It's very annoying b/c its sounds like squeaking belts lol

anybody else have any ideas? i was thinking maybe a bad motor mount may be causing the slave cylinder to vibrate, but i did replace the front motor mount about a year ago. any other suggestion would be appreciated

Could be the clutch pressure plate making noise or the throw out bearing. Maybe the clutch fork needs to be greased at the pivot point.
