I replaced the clutch on my 98 Acura 2.3 cl and when I dropped the transmission, I didn't realize that there was a plug still attached and pulled out the wires. The plug clips to the manual transmission and has three wires coming out of it; a black wire, a black w/ yellow stripe wire, and a blue w/ white stripe wire.

If some could please help me and tell me the order of the wires or send me a pic of theirs. I would love to put this project behind me and start driving my car again.

as a tech at acura, i would just say buy yourself a new speed sensor, our cars have a horrible problem with these being faulty, and failing. It will happen again soon, so just replace it!

 

Can you tell me exactly where the VSS is on a 98 CL, MT, 2.3 I have the part...cant find it on the car. Do I access from under car or engine bay?

 

I appreciate the help but I was able to reference a junk yard car and figure out the order. Thank you for offering your help orsadude2, I'm sure I'll have some more questions in the future.
