My 97 3.0 has rust developing on the ps a piller next to the windshield. It has always been garaged and never seen snow as I live in Southern California.

I took it to a body shop and they want 500.00 to remove the windshield, repair the rust, replace the apparently defective window seal and replace the windshield. Does this sound reasonable?

Why the hell did it rust? grrrrr.

i know in civics....water from the sunroof can leak down and get into the A-Pillars

could be the case with your CL ???

either way....if you're gonna take care of it, do it right and spend the money to have the windshield removed so all the rust can be taken care of
