Drive a 97 acura cl, power window on the passenger side stopped working. Rolled all the way down earlier and doesn't want to go back up doesn't work from the driver side or passenger side switch when I hit the switch down it still pulls power but nothing when it's flipped up is that a bad switch or regulator?

 

This is a very common problem on our cars, so much so that it's listed as a know problem on the wikipedia for our cars. There are countless threads on here if you utilize the search function including a DIY for replacement which sounds like your gonna need. I just went through this about 2 months ago where it just wouldn't go up out of the blue, but I could hear it working. When I took it apart for replacement, the cable was undone somehow. I would suggest you just change the whole unit.

 

yea, the 1 in mine is going thru a similar issue. its goin down easy like a cheap whore, but coming up real slow like a ... well, we all kno! but regardless, its like timeizmoney sed, its a big issue, but at least the car isnt failing! :P

 

windows are too heavy for these motors; same motor from a 96-97 accord coupe if it helps you. very common problem. Simple to replace..if you dont have the money -take off the panel and put a wedge in there so the window wont fall down.
