Frist of all Happy New Year.
Second I having issues with the CEL on my 1998 CL 3.0
Code is P1259: VTEC Malfunction
I checked oil level added a quart.
Tired to clear code and it just came back.
Any suggestions? solenoid? something else?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

there is a screen located in the spool valve which you could try to replace. Should be around $12 at your local dealership. I would try that before you go and replace the solenoid at $103
