ok i have gone threw this car, and i when on a road trip....i turned the ac on and a few mins later it would start heating up. one time almost over headed, the car started bucking. i turn the ac off and the temp would drop to norm with in 30 sec....now the fans seam to be working, no debre, new oem thermastat. anyone have any advice.

 

not trying to be captian obvious but try putting some antifreeze in...

 

haha...after i posted this i thought of that, i'm going to check it in the morning...but i don't think thats the case..will see

Did u bleed the system properly after replacing the thermostat?

 

^ that. Who replaced the thermostat? and if it was you or a friend; did they bleed it correctly? you said the fans "seem" to be working; do they work? I mean both radiator and a/c fans? something as simple as this could be your problem(if they don't- check relays)

 

i do all my work and everything was done right...... yes both fans work but i think and not sure how but need to test the fans to be sure they are turning the correct speed. the other is mabe the rad broke a fin inside.she hasn't headed up in a week now, this car the few problems i'v had has not been black and white, what a pain i'll keep you all posted, and does anyone have any idea how to test the speed of the fans
