Hey everyone im new here, ill post an intro in a bit :p

For the past year or so i've been going insane whenever i lower my passanger window, it makes a god awful screech, The black lining looks as if someone was trying to use a screwdriver to break into the car from the passanger side and ever since then its been seperated and its rubbing on that, only issue is that when i move the black rubber out the noise still echoes from that window. It really puts a hamper on things

Any ideas, suggestions? A good set of earplugs?

ive got the same issue. spray some goo gone on both the inside and outside of the window and move it up and down a couple of times. wipe away the excess fluid and it should stop making the noise. what happened in my case was there was some crap on the rubber that was causing it to WREEEAAAAAAAAARRRRKKK and that cleaned it off.

 

Mine does that too...but only on really hot days? Welcome BTW.Post pics of your CL.

Thanks for the welcome Ill post pics up once i wash it...so hopefully within the next few months Once i get these next set of upgrades in ill take some picture for sure though.

 

You say it still screeches even when you move the rubber out of the way?
Is th noise coming from inside the door kind of?
All CL window regulators are crap and will go out several times throughout the life of the vehicle.
When it's ready to go out soon sometimes it will make a screeching grinding noise when you lower or raise the window.
