Need some help with check engine light showing P0171 code on a 1997 CL 2.2L manual trans

So far I have done the following but still have the code showing up:

1. Changed front O2 sensor
2. Replaced MAP sensor
3. New EGR & cleaned ports/passage on intake
4. New Fuel filter

The only notable symptom when driving is an intermittent loss of power usually in second gear while going up or down a hill, but not always. Car idles fine

I have cleared the code but it comes back on immediately after above issue is noticed.

Maybe it's the fuel pump starting to go out but from what I understand they're pretty reliable. Car has only 132k in millage. Also car has after market air intake which was on the car when I bought it 3 months ago. It seems to be connected properly and I don't see any loose or cracked vacuum lines.

Any ideas would be helpful.

 

definitely sounds like a fuel delivery problem

 

check your fuel lines, if the fuel filter lines arnt tight they can leak once pressurized. was there a aftermarket fuel pressure regulator on before that got taken off and the old one put back on???? the regulator might be bad but i heard honda reg's are good.
