Noises

Every time i turn on my car a buzzing noise comes from what seems like my front drivers side... i don't know what is causing it but it is embarrassing and annoying and i want to get rid of it.

Anyone have this same problem or have any ideas for a fix??

This is ABS modulator pressurizing the accumulator. It should go off after 5-10 seconds unless you have an ABS problem, in which case the ABS light will come on. If no ABS light, you don't have a problem.

good luck

Did you find a fix for this?

My ABS light is on with the modulator buzzing as well. Should I go in to find out the error codes, or is there another way I can fix this?

Tevans, what ended up happening with yours? Thanks for the help on this older post.

Mine has done this for years, the dealer's suggested fix was $1000+labor to replace the modulator, I read somewhere it's the rubber o-rings inside the modulator, I've just lived with it. If your ABS light is coming on, it could also be a wheel speed sensor, I've replaced 3 of those already

Damn, looks like I'll live with the moaning dash problem too. My slurping a/c sound usually drowns it out during the summer.
