well i just noticed it while after driving for about 5-10 mins, and i come to a stop light, and my car is idlign, i hear a slight whine, when i hit my gas in neutrel the sound escalates....its coming from the belt area, and i smell a bit of burning or something...not sure what it is, any ideas?

 

Did you just have your timing belt changed?

 

Did it last year..

Was buy a buddies shop, and the guy said its the power steering pump, and to put some power steering lube stuff and it'll go away...heh guess ill try it out, any other ideas?
