well the 2 bars the make the trunk open up well one of those bars snaped,, those are the ones that go across and the thing in the middle that holds them broke off. also and im wondering if any of you guys might know where to get a replacement..

the trunk feels heavy enough so i need to fix it asap and it wont stay open so any help i would thank alot..

p.s. its not the hinges im talking about the thin bars....

 

I bought the replacement springs for a trunk w/spoiler and it cost about $40 for the parts and another $40 for labor. Someone posted here that it takes hours to put the springs in without the proper tools. Btw, I got mine at the stealership.

 

my trunk JUST started not opening all the way.
im not sure what made it decide to suddenly do this...
i can live with it and spend that money on something else

 

springs shouldnt be that expensive. i see them on http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray/...All&vinsrch=no their only like 6 bucks. btw where in Torrance you at? i work in Torrance.
